Welcome to Front Porch Project!
This is an historic time for our community, and we want to have it professionally documented by our photographer, Geneve Hoffman at 16 Hoops, while at the same time raising funds for local families through Three River Farmer Alliance charitable network.
The idea is simple. It's Spring and everyone has to be home so what better time for a fun & easy portrait. It's social distancing & safe! Whether the whole gang is stuck at home, or it's just you and your pet! Dress up or dress down - it's up to you!
How it works:
Fill out our form below to get on the schedule. Our photographer Geneve will schedule a 10 minute session with you directly via text.
On the day of your scheduled session, Geneve will text or call you a few minutes before she arrives, and at that time you and your family/pets/household will assemble on your front door porch area for your portrait. She will photograph you from a safe distance of approx 20-30 feet with her telephoto lens. She will direct too - you will love the result!
Be as casual or dressy or creative as you like! Check out #frontporchproject on instagram for ideas - have fun with it! Call Geneve anytime if you want to discuss ideas.
In exchange for being a participant, you will receive an instant download high resolution, ready to print image for your personal use (social media, printing, holiday cards etc) within 5-10 days.
Any donations and proceeds we receive will go in full towards the support of Three River Farmer Alliance (we encourage you to tag them on facebook & instagram when you post your image!) charitable network. With your donations, Three River will remove any margin and put all these dollars to feed our local community, and will distribute food to local food banks and other local food initiatives for the food insecure in our community. All donations and proceeds are optional and there is no minimum or maximum contribution.
If you choose to donate, we are choosing to use the platform Venmo to follow safety precautions put in place due to COVID-19. Venmo is owned by Paypal. For more information see the end of the form. To give using Venmo, please use our account at @ WRP GIVES BACK and put Front Porch Project in notes. If prompted, enter 1637 as last four digits of our number.
If you choose to donate via check, please make the check out to Three River Farmers Alliance, put in a sealed envelope and deposit in the dropbox outside of the WRP York office, or mail to:
